80th Annual Candlelight & Carols

Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
Free Admission ~ Voluntary offering

Once again all of Pasadena Presbyterian Church’s resident choirs collaborate on this annual “Pasadena Holiday Tradition for the Whole Family,” offering fresh performances of familiar Christmas music, as well as newly-composed pieces. Serving as a thrilling kickoff to the Christmas season for many, this year’s program features sacred and secular music composed or arranged by Dan Forrest, Marques L.A. Garrett, Elaine Hagenberg, Mark Sirett, and Sir Karl Jenkins, among others. Highlights of the program include Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem “The Night Before Christmas” presented by noted actress Pamela Roylance (Sarah Carter on “Little House on the Prairie”) with the Friends of Music orchestra, and Anne Dudley’s evocative arrangement of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”

Free to the public (a freewill offering is taken).
